Wonders of the Deep
Happy summer! 🙂
The mighty, magnificent, misunderstood shark was my first favorite creature in the world. Â Maybe it was because of their big, toothy smiles… Â I loved sharks so much I had a shark-themed third birthday party!
As a fifth-grader, I embraced more weird wonders of the deep – and portrayed them proudly in all their glory as part of a seascape-centered art project in class. Â I’m not sure my teacher was impressed, but I still have and love that painting!
These snippets of sea life were inspired by my lifelong love of sea creatures (especially those considered strange and scary). Â I hope you enjoy them!
